Sheer. Elegance.
The curves of the Prelude Hand Wound case are made to be understated. Due to its arched side profile, the 10.32mm height of the case appears pretty sleek. The case is crafted from stainless steel. It is fully polished, however, the sides are manually brushed horizontally.
Swiss made. Over 50 tiny mechanical parts, all crafted with one purpose: to show you every moment of the day the time. The movement has 48 hours of power reserve, exactly enough to survive the weekend.
Lithography dial. Seconds at six o'clock. Stainless steel case. An understated design. Domed polished leaf-hands that end exactly in the middle of the minute track. And much more... Oh boy, we love making watches.

Into the mind of the maker. The Prelude Automatic is the thinnest watch I ever made, it easily hides underneath your cuff. It has a very simplistic look, however, there are a lot of understated details. It is possible to have your personal text printed on the dial, to make sure the watch reflects your story.
Into the mind of the maker. This is my first watch ever. I made it during my classical music studies in Italy. Just for myself, I didn't had any intention to make more than one. Now, a decade later, it is the foundation of every model in the Prelude collection. More Staudt it wouldn't get.
We'll not give it away easily. You will get your timepiece packed in an impressive box that lasts a lifetime, which you can convert into a collectors box for four watches.
